Greater Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce (GSLBCC) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization based in Lafayette, LA. organized to advance and protect the general welfare and prosperity of African American owned businesses in the community.

MISSION STATEMENT

Greater SWLA Black Chamber of Commerce is to economically empower and sustain African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the community.

VISION STATEMENT

Greater SWLA Black Chamber of Commerce envisions a community of friendly interdependent relationships with diverse cultural, economic and educational opportunities to create an unparalleled quality of life.

ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Born and raised in Lafayette, LA, Courtney Reynolds serves as our returning Chamber President. She has been an active member for over 7 years and serves offices of 2nd Vice President and Events Coordinator prior to her current title. Courtney is one young, hardworking, persistent and loving young woman who feels improving the community is her heart and passion. Along with serving as President, Courtney is the owner of 2 respected businesses, CReynolds Cleaning Service and Creative Events Group.

After being reelected for her 2nd term November 23, 2015, Courtney is strong willed and determined to bring leadership into the next level. Courtney intends to launch twice the business opportunities for the chapter with the official launch of the EZBZ Global Business Program. Courtney strongly encourages youth to join our Junior Division chapter as well. Courtney's main goal as President in this next term is to set forth a solid foundation for entrepreneurs new and old within the entire Acadiana region.
