GSLBCC 15th Annual Trailblazer & Scholarship Awards Banquet

The 15th Annual Trailblazer & Scholarship Awards Banquet took place Friday, April 17th, 2015 at Cajundome Convention Center and was a COMPLETE SUCCESS! Five categories of awards including President’s Award were presented along with scholarships to area recipients. We announced our chapter will begin a Junior Division for our youth.
Red Carpet Networking Reception began at 6:00 pm followed by the Ceremony Dinner at 7:00 pm. 2015 Keynote Speaker was Harry C. Alford, National Black Chamber of Commerce President/CEO and Co-Founder. Trailblazer Award recipients were Gerald Boudreaux, Ernest J. Ledet and Luraine Richard. Scholarship Recipients were Michelle Livingston (Lafayette High), Deranae Broussard (Northside High) and J'Andrenique Taylor (West St. Mary High). President's Award recipients were Anthony & Linda Reynolds along with Corey Frank (Member of the Year Award) and Harry C. Alford (Above and Beyond Award).
